Bread of Life Mills began as a natural extension of a lifestyle we have been committed to for over a decade, centered around sustainable living, homesteading, and a desire to be more connected to the food we consume. Over the years, we became increasingly interested in traditional methods of preparing food and the quality differences they produce.
More recently, we discovered the profound nutritional and flavor benefits of using the whole wheat berry in freshly milled flour rather than relying on modern, highly processed alternatives. That discovery changed everything. What started as a personal pursuit quickly grew into a passion for sharing this process and its results with others.
Bread of Life Mills was born from that journey, shaped by a sense of purpose, craftsmanship, and a desire to bring people closer to real, honest food. Through both milling and baking, we aim to offer products that reflect the richness, simplicity, and integrity of traditional practices, while helping others experience the difference for themselves.
